A finales del siglo XV y principios del XVI, con el desarrollo de la actividad mercantil se produjo un auge de la actividad constructiva en la Península Ibérica. El sur de la Península Ibérica experimenta un notable fenómeno de desarrollo urbano. Las conexiones con el Nuevo Mundo proporcionan al territorio andaluz una gran expansión comercial y generan un sistema urbano rizomático.
«Una vital corriente de intercambios comerciales, artísticos y humanos generó una suerte de ´corredor´ o ´eje´, como me atrevo a definirlo que marca el origen de muchas transformaciones del tardogótico y por el que estas discurren. […] Es el escenario de una arquitectura que no sabe de fronteras ni nacionalidades, sino de lealtad de la logia, la iniciativa de los comitentes y de la vitalidad y transmisión de modelos. » (CUETOS, 2011)
Esta investigación propone crear modelos digitales de información (MDI) con el fin de registrar y analizar las redes creadas en el territorio de Andalucía Occidental en el transito a la Edad Moderna. Se aspira generar un estudio de las redes espacio-temporales generadas por las principales empresas edilicias (edificios civiles y religiosos), con especial protagonismo de los profesionales y artistas implicados, considerando el contexto socio-económico, político, científico-técnico y cultural. Con ello se pretende comprender esta organización espacial, entendida como un sistema dinámico y no lineal.
In the late fifteenth and early sixteenth century, with the development of commercial activity there was a boom in building constructions. The south of the Peninsula experiences a remarkable phenomenon of urban growth, the Andalusia´s urban network starts to have great significance nationally and also internationally. The connections with the New World provided a business expansion to the Andalusia´s territory and generated a rhizomatic urban system. This research aims to create digital information models in order to perform integrated analysis of the networks established in the territory of Western Andalusia in the transition to the Modern Age. It aims to generate a study of the space-time generated by the major construction companies networks (civil and religious buildings) with special emphasis in professionals and artists involved, considering the socio-economic, political, scientific-technical and cultural context. It seeks to understand the spatial organization, understood as a dynamic and nonlinear system.
